Some Tips for Those Who are New to Zoom:
___________________________________________
___________________________________________
- You do not need any special program or subscription to watch and participate in worship online via Zoom-- it's as simple as clicking a link or dialing the phone!
- To join online worship on the computer, click the link under "Join Zoom Meeting." You will then be prompted to enter your name, and to choose a mode of audio (usually the top option "Join with Computer Audio).
- If you have never used Zoom before, it may prompt you to download something before you can join the meeting
- If you do NOT have a computer (or if you would prefer), you can call on a landline or cell phone, and listen to the service. You can do this by dialing the number under "Dial by your location." You may need to enter the Meeting ID number if prompted. You can also be heard during the service when "un-muted" (such as before the service starts and during "Announcements."
- If your computer is a desktop, and you don't have a microphone or camera attached, you may join the worship service on the computer, but we won't be able to hear you (you will still be able to hear and see everything though).
- If you have a camera and microphone on your computer (most laptops do), you will be able to be seen and heard by everyone if you "unmute" (this will make the "Announcements, Joys & Concerns" section feel more like regular worship). You can do this by unclicking the "mute" button on the bottom left of the screen, or by pressing the spacebar (kind of like using a walky-talky).
- If you have never used Zoom before, please join the service at least 15 minutes early, in case you run into any issues.
- If anyone has any questions, or has trouble accessing the service, please feel free to contact Julie at any point for assistance ( jmg6103@yahoo.com)
