THIS SUNDAY
Easter Has Just Begun!
He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed! The season of Eastertide continues to lift up the joy of the resurrected Christ and his presence in the Church. This week we’ll visit Acts 4 and look at how the early Church envisioned operating as the resurrection people. Holy Communion will be served, and our Communion Offering will go to support the Slate Belt Ministerium Relief Fund. Bulletins are attached for those joining us from home.

Free Community Dinner
Our Free Community Dinner for April 7 will feature Hamburger Stroganoff. We could still use some desserts which can be brought in on Sunday. Meals will be served “to-go” between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.
New Members to Be Received
If you have been visiting with us we want you to know that your presence has blessed our fellowship. We would also like to ask you to consider becoming a full member of the congregation and vow to support God’s work through your prayers, your presence, your gifts, your service, and your witness. If you are interested, please see Pastor Dave. New members will be received on April 28.
Hear the Bells and Make Them Ring
We have a wonderful Carillon system that serves as an important witness to our community. But it can be a shade complex (and doesn’t always work the way it should). We are looking for two volunteers to really dig in to the Carillon, learn how it operates, and can handle setting up the schedules for the different seasons of the church year as well as adjusting the system for the time changes. The Carillon is located up the back steps in the balcony so we need to have volunteers for whom that will not be a problem. Please see Pastor Dave and we’ll set up a tutorial as well as provide more in literature on the Carillon operations.
Photo Directory UpdatE
We are delaying the publication of a photo directory until after the new pastor is appointed to the church. But, in the meantime, we are still asking for your photographs. A pre-publication directory will be provided for the new pastor to help them put names to faces as they start their ministry among us.
Invitation to Membership
We extend an invitation to those who have been visiting with us in worship to join us as full members of the congregation. For more information, please contact Pastor Dave.
2024 Sign-Up Sheets
2024 sign-up sheets have been posted on the upper narthex bulletin board. Please use these to reserve altar flowers and to volunteer as an usher or greeter for the new year.
Submitting Prayer Requests
Prayer requests for Sunday morning can be submitted anytime during the week by sending them to davegoss922@gmail.com, or texting 570-556-9482. Thanks in advance for using this method when possible.
Sponsorships Available |
Join Us in the Lounge |
We are once again offering the opportunity to sponsor altar flowers. Please contact Peggy Hower at the church office, (610) 588-4453 or at pshower@epix.net. Please note that you will be responsible for removing the flowers and we cannot yet make deliveries to shut-ins or nursing homes. Signup sheets are also available on the bulletin board in the upper narthex for sponsoring the Dial-a-Message and Bulletins.
Greeters and Ushers Needed We’re running a bit short on volunteers to greet our guests and take offering. Please consider signing up for a week or a month for these important ministries. Sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board in the upper narthex.

Grab a cup of coffee and share in some conversation prior to worship each week in the lounge located across the hall from the church office. It’s a great way to share in fellowship before the church service.
