The United Methodist Church has been a strong supporter of the fight against Malaria. Bishop Peggy Johnson has asked that we make one final push in our financial campaign by each church setting a goal to raise $10.00 per person based on average worship. Please do what you can as we seek to do our part. For more information, you can visitwww.ImagineNoMalaria.org. We will be accepting offerings through Sunday, November 15.
United Methodist Men will resume in January, 2016. We will be surveying the men in our congregation to determine the best evening of the month to hold our meetings.

It’s time to start bringing in your donations for the White Elephant Table for our fall bazaar. Items can be dropped off on Thursday evenings between 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., or speak to Lois Tucker if you need to make special arrangements! Please note that the social hall will be unavailable for activities beginning November 2 as Bazaar set-up commences. Mark your calendar for Friday, November 20th & Saturday, November 21st. In the meantime, if you need any decorations for Fall or Thanksgiving…check us out downstairs. If you would like to help, let us know. Our Bazaar has funded many projects in our Church and the Community and with your help we can do it again. Please post the flyer in this newsletter in stores etc.
Thank you, The Bazaar Committee |
