What a great Sunday we have coming up! The Choir returns to share music ministry with us and Sunday School classes begin for the fall. Pastor Dave will be delivering part one of a three-part sermon series on “The Niebuhr Prayer.” This prayer, constructed by the 20th century American theologian Reinhold Niebuhr, is one of his great gifts to Christians and non-Christians alike, and has touched the lives of countless people throughout the world. Part 1 of the series is “Is it Well With My Soul?” For those who arrive early, we will commence with some pre-service singing in preparation for worship.
The Singles group will meet at the church at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday September 13th to go on Byer’s Choice and Garden Tour. Please RSVP by Friday to Cindy so that carpooling might be arranged.

Young people who are interested in going through the Confirmation process and being received into full membership in the congregation on Pentecost Sunday, May 24, 2015 should see Pastor Dave by the end of September at the very latest. We have a variety of formats for the confirmation process depending on the student’s preferred learning method.
Don't forget the Bazaar when you are fall housecleaning. Items will be picked up anytime or can dropped off at the Church Thursdays between 6 and 8 p.m.
We are looking for 2 volunteers to set up for our monthly after-church fellowship times. This involves putting on the coffee, getting out placemats and plasticware, and making sure things look hospitable. There are no out-of-pocket expenses you will incur this ministry. Please talk to Pastor Dave to sign-up.
